SystmOne Mental Health

SystmOne Mental Health has been developed in conjunction with clinicians working in the NHS today. It is the first of its kind, linking both primary care and mental health care information.

SystmOne Mental Health can be used for all mental health care pathways, including inpatients, specialties such as learning disabilities, and community staff visits. SystmOne's flexibility means organisations can use the same unit for both inpatient and outpatient care, or can set up different units and operate each separately.

SystmOne Mental Health is based on the Care Programme Approach (CPA) used in community care.

Features
The features of SystmOne Mental Health are:

Record sharing
As use of SystmOne is widespread in primary care, users of SystmOne in a Mental Health setting have the potential to access information about a client that may impact on how their case is progressed. Better access to information results in better patient care. In future, SystmOne Mental Health will offer the potential to link with SystmOne Social Services, providing a truly integrated approach to patient care.

Workflow
SystmOne allows users to see at a glance where patients are and what work needs doing, making it easy to track a patient's progress from waiting list to admission and treatment.

Care plans can be set up and applied with any frequency. Pending care plan instructions for all patients can be seen and managed from a single screen.

SystmOne's flexible handover functionality ensures that patient care continues seamlessly over shift changeovers, whether workloads are transferred directly from one staff member to another or are split or combined.

Care Programme Approach reviews
SystmOne supports each step of the CPA review including reminding users that a review is due, arranging the review, inviting attendees, and carrying out and recording the review itself.

Sectioning
SystmOne Mental Health allows sectioning to be performed at the appropriate time by the appropriate person. Progress to a patient's care is not dependent on a section having been recorded. Once recorded, information about a patient's section can be referenced at any time.

Reporting
SystmOne allows Mental Health services to report on activity in the organisation.  A Mental Health MDS extract provides organisations with all the information they need to submit to monitor performance and achieve payments.

SystmOne's user-friendly reporting interface makes it simple to set up even the most complex reports. A comprehensive library of pre-defined reports is also supplied for users to build on. Accurate reports can be run at any time, without impacting on the rest of the organisation, and the results can be broken down for easy analysis.
