What are we changing?
We’re changing the icons and buttons used to represent codes in SystmOne. The red ‘R’ that was previously used to launch the Read Code (CTV3) browser or to add a Read Code is changing to a generic code icon. We will also be renaming some screens e.g. the Read Code Browser is becoming the Code Browser.
Why are we making the change?
We’re making this change to reflect the fact that Read Codes are not the only type of code available when using these icons and buttons.
Examples of where you will see the new icon
The Code Browser
The ‘Read Code Browser’ will be renamed to the ‘Code browser’. Icons denoting codes will be changed. You will still see the red ‘R’ icon if you want to view the Read Code hierarchy. You will also see the red ‘R’ icon with a cross if there is a SNOMED concept that does not have a Read Code equivalent.
Toobars
If you have a button on your toolbar for adding a code, the icon will be updated.
When is this change happening?
TPP are due to implement this change on the evening of the 25th April during the scheduled maintenance release.
