TPP’s Founder & CEO joins UK delegation at the World Economic Forum

This week, Frank Hester OBE, TPP’s Founder and CEO, joined the UK’s official delegation led by Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Matt Hancock, at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Tianjin.

Frank represented TPP at the event, which ran from 18th to 20th September. The WEF is an annual event that brings together some of the foremost political and business leaders across the world to shape regional and global agendas.

The UK government invited a delegation of leaders from the UK to show their commitment to UK-China collaborations. As part of the delegation, Frank attended the UK-China Health Dialogue and the Annual Meeting of the New Champions.

The event garnered international media attention. Frank was interviewed for a number of media channels, including the CGTN (China Global Television Website).

“It’s a real privilege to have been invited on this trade mission. China is incredibly forward-thinking and I strongly believe we can improve healthcare globally together,” Frank said. “TPP works hard to ensure we are using the latest technology to address real-life issues. We’ve made some incredible breakthroughs in integrated care and we are now working to implement this technology in China.”

TPP has been working in China since 2013. We have worked closely with Chinese partners to develop a tailored solution for the Chinese market, and our strategy is aligned with the government’s healthcare policies, including improving primary care services.
