Entries should demonstrate how you have used SystmConnect to streamline patient requests, manage workflow efficiency, and reduce the burden on phone lines. Show us how you have transformed your patients’ experience.
2. The Operational Efficiency Award
Focus: Back Office & Administration
Recognising the back-office heroes who use technology to work smarter, not harder.
This category rewards the innovative use of administrative tools to save time and streamline business processes. For example, we want to see how you’ve used the communications annexe to transform your patient recall process, how free slot search presets have streamlined appointment booking into just a few clicks, and how you’ve used SystmOne Dashboards and Reporting to monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive data-led operational improvements.
These are just a few examples of the powerful functionality available to practices focused on improving efficiency.
3. The Gold Standard Prescribing Award
Focus: Best practice prescribing within SystmOne
Highlighting innovative use of SystmOne to identify risk, improve monitoring, and embed safer prescribing across general practice.
The Gold Standard Prescribing Award celebrates practices that are using SystmOne functionality intelligently and systematically to improve medication monitoring, reduce prescribing errors, standardise workflows and much more. We want to see the measurable impact and utilisation of tools such as safety alerts, protocols, reports, meds reconciliation and patient searches.
4. The Excellence in Caring for Long Term Conditions Award
Focus: Long Term Conditions (LTC) Management
Championing proactive population health management that puts the patient first.
This category seeks “best in class” examples of Long Term Condition management. Show us how your practice is rising to the challenge of the NHS’s 10 year plan – From Sickness to Prevention. Entries should demonstrate how you use features such as clinical reporting, waiting lists, recalls, protocols, visualisations and clinical templates to improve outcomes for LTC populations.
5. The Best Innovative Use of SystmOne Award
Focus: Creative System Design & Problem Solving
Celebrating practices that push the boundaries of what SystmOne can do.
This category recognises practices that have used SystmOne in imaginative and impactful ways to tackle real operational or clinical challenges. We’re looking for powerful Protocols, best use of Patient Insights or DNA probability reports, time saving Templates, effective eWorkflows, or creative configurations that go beyond standard use.
Entries should clearly explain the challenge faced, the solution designed within SystmOne, and the tangible benefits delivered – for example, improved patient care, streamlined processes, or enhanced efficiency for staff and the wider system.
6. The Neighbourhood Teams Excellence Award
Focus: Integrated Care & Place-Based Working
Recognising outstanding collaboration across neighbourhood and community teams.
Aligned with the NHS 10-Year Plan, this category celebrates innovation that supports multidisciplinary neighbourhood teams working together around patients. We are looking for examples of how SystmOne has enabled collaboration between practices, community services, care homes, and wider partners to deliver coordinated, proactive care. Entries should demonstrate shared workflows, improved information sharing, and digital tools that support integrated working, whether in clinics, care homes, patients’ homes, or community settings.
