TPP have signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Hainan-based company, First Chengmei Medical Industry Group. The signing took place on the 1st February at the Intercontinental Hotel, Sanlitun in Beijing, alongside planned business events during Theresa May’s official trade mission to China. The cooperation agreement was signed by Dr Hui-Chi Yeh, Director at TPP, and Mr. Zonghua Xu, President of the First Chengmei Medical Industry Group. It was witnessed by Kevin Holland, Director of Life Sciences at the British Embassy, Beijing.
Last week staff from TPP exhibited at the China International Industry Fair in Shanghai. Attendance at the show was part of a Department of International Trade (DIT) Northern Powerhouse mission to China – led by Baroness Rona Fairhead and Northern Powerhouse Minister Jake Berry.
