Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust to deploy SystmOne’s Mental Health Product

Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust has selected TPP SystmOne Mental Health following their Electronic Patient Record system procurement. The Trust has signed a 10-year contract with a 5-year optional extension with TPP, which will see the Trust migrate its mental health services.

This deployment will see the Trust benefit from a single integrated EPR across the physical and mental health services, with SystmOne being the single source of truth across all services provided.

The implementation will see a shared, single instance solution support the care delivered at over 80 sites across Hull, the East Riding of Yorkshire, Whitby, Scarborough and Ryedale. Clinical and administrative staff will use SystmOne to deliver care to a population of more than 765,000.

This exciting implementation will deliver many improved and exciting capabilities around extensive use of new digital tools. The implementation will not only bring together information across the SystmOne platform, but also provide better integration through interaction with the Yorkshire and Humber Shared care record, which will permit further sharing of information between neighbouring care providers within the region.

The Trust will also increase safety and efficiency alongside improved patient centred care through the introduction of electronic prescribing and medicines administration, patient communication tools, mobile working and a patient portal.
