Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust signs up to SystmOne ED

Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLaG) has signed a five-year contract with TPP to deploy the SystmOne Emergency Department (ED) module. The contract is an addition to the existing Shared Business Service (SBS) Framework contract the Trust has with TPP.

NLaG employs around 6500 staff members and around 250 staff will be using SystmOne in ED. They chose SystmOne after a tender process due to its comprehensive functionality and the wide use of SystmOne in primary care in the area surrounding the Trust. It will enable the seamless flow of information between ED and the primary care and so improve the quality and efficiency of care provided by all services. The Trust is hoping to make the switch to SystmOne in the second half of 2019.

Mr Ajay Chawla, Clinical Lead, said “ It gives ED immediate access with consent to patients’ records and previous consultations to make informed decisions about their care. I am confident that it improves patients experience and care provided by ED.

Rosa Murray, Account Manager, TPP said “We are delighted with the Trust’s decision to procure SystmOne and look forward to supporting them in this transition. The move is very exciting as the ability for ED clinicians to be able to view the full patient record and add to it will bring huge benefits.”
