Airmid in Hospital
In an ageing and growing population, it’s increasingly important to put patients and their families at the centre of their own healthcare. Adoption of technology and constantly improving internet connectivity means smartphone apps are clearly one of the easiest ways to facilitate this change. Patient-centred care is at the heart of Airmid. Because it integrates directly with a patient’s EHR, Airmid allows patients to interact directly with their care organisations, and vice versa. There are around 545 organisations (excluding GP organisations) that have enabled Airmid. The amount that Airmid is used in each will vary from use at a single service under the trust to all services.
