Dr Hui-Chi Yeh
Hui-Chi joined TPP in 2013. As Director of Asia-Pacific, her role within TPP is to identify and facilitate opportunities to expand TPP’s products and services within China. Her role also includes coordinating projects with prospective partners in both the public and private sector healthcare industry.
Hui-Chi received her PhD in International Relations and Chinese Studies at the University of Sheffield. Her research focused on the norms and ideas that impact China’s policy making. Prior to joining TPP, Hui-Chi worked as a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in China and Global Politics in the Faculty of Politics and International Relations at the University of Southampton.
With her previous education and work experience, Hui-Chi is uniquely valuable to TPP in her ability to understand the nuances of Chinese business culture, as well as facilitating relations with Chinese government officials at both the central and local government level. By working closely with TPP’s Chinese clients, Hui-Chi has directly contributed to TPP’s recognition as a dynamic partner in China’s healthcare industry.
Hui-Chi speaks a number of languages, including Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese and Turkish.
