TPP Covid-19 update: release 14th May
For the third consecutive software release, TPP has focused on making changes that will support our users with the evolving challenges that Covid-19 has presented. The fantastic efforts by frontline staff across the NHS and social care continues to inspire us to develop our products to help clinicians and carers deliver care more efficiently.
Given the above, our software release of 14/05 is largely dedicated to system enhancements that will assist in dealing with the current pandemic. These changes have been in response to end users and because of work conducted with NHS central policy makers.
The changes released later today include;
– Extracted data for prisoners at high risk of complications from Covid-19 via GPES
– Upload of the new set of High Risk flags defined by NHS Digital across our GP estate
– Improvements to shared admin groups enabling documents to be forwarded across shared admin organisations.
– Made changes to GP Connect Appointments functionality to allow rota/slot types to be published to different services.
– A total of 41 Covid-19 ‘hub’ units have been rolled out free of charge.
– Over 400 non-GP units are now using EPS2 phase 4.
– Developed the ability to nominate your pharmacy in Airmid.
– All GPs enabled to receive 111 copy report messages, improving the flow of Covid-19 data into primary care.
– Improved the workflow for clinic letters in hospitals, making them easier to write and send.
– Gone live with e-observations at Leicester Partnership Trust and Surrey and Borders Mental Health Trusts.
– Supported temporary NMC numbers for nurses returning to work.
– Enabled OOH units to be able to assign different CCGs to different cost centre codes for script printing and EPS.
– Developed the GP Connect structured specification which will be rolled out following assurance from NHS Digital.
TPP will continue to do everything it can to support users and patients at this tough time. We will ensure that our work is focused on enabling clinicians to be best placed to deal with the unique situation they are facing.
